1.What is LVDS?

The full name of LVDS is Low Voltage Differential Signaling. Using high-speed analog circuit technology, LVDS(Low Voltage Differential Signal Transmission)features a high-speed, low-power interface standard and is a new technology for inter-system and intra-system applications.

As digital video, high-resolution TV and color images require higher bandwidth to support data streaming, the demand for LVDS has become more promising due to the need for high volume data transfer in a speed of 100Mbps or more.

Now, it has been widely used in fields like stackable hubs for data transmission, wireless base stations for electronic communications and asynchronous transmission mode switches, computer flatscreen and servers, printers and digital photocopiers, and automotive flat panel display industries, which are all moving towards high-resolution displays.
